Visiting Choirs

St. James Visiting Choirs are accomplished vocal ensembles invited to perform an informal twenty- to thirty-minute program of sacred music on a week day in the Cathedral. Visiting Choirs represent the best of church, school, college and community choral groups. There is a Steinway grand piano near the choral seating that may be used by Visiting Choirs. It is sometimes possible to schedule a brief time with one of the Cathedral’s organists. Within easy walking distance of the Cathedral are a large number of retired residents who are regularly invited to weekday performances.
